I really liked Angel's Peak, and now am reading The Stanforth Secrets. I think its the second regency she ever wrote. Its amazing how much she found her voice between the first and second books (even though I did like the first one.)
I'm keeping Lessons in French for the weekend...

I'm still reading Song of the Road, and I must say, I'm not really loving it. It's okay, but it's not sucking me in. And I just got Practice Makes Perfect from the library, and I really just want to start on it...

I just finished Kristan Higgins The Next Best Thing, which was absolutetly superb. Now I'm at a loss of what to read after such a great book. Crying or Very sad

I'm starting my RITA books, which I can't name, but they all look really great! Very Happy

Promise Me Tonight isn't officially out until Feb. 2, but there have been sightings at Borders and Books-a-Million. For any Aussies on the BB, I know both Temptation and Ever After are stocking PMT.

I've been reading something a little different. It is called "Beautiful Creatures". It is a book by two authors. Kami Garcia and Margaret Stohl. It is considered Teen Fiction or whatever but it takes place in the South and deals with people called Casters...sort of like witches. So far I'm really enjoying it and I love how beautifully written it is and it is blended so seemlessly you can't really tell that two different people penned this book. There is supposed to be a sequel to it this year and I will probably buy it too because I am truly amazed about how much I am enjoying it....but then again I do like Twilight so maybe I shouldn't be too surprised by that..LOL!!

Janga, thank you, thank you, thank you! I finished Kate Moore's To Tempt a Saint last night. What a wonderful book! I absolutely adored it and can not wait for the next one to be issued in the fall!

We are snowed in (well, I can make a case for not going out anyway) so as soon as I finish up some work I will read Lessons in French

I almost don't want to--its so much fun having it to look forward to. I hope she really is starting to write again--it sounds like she might be.

SPOILER ALERT
I've been thinking about Beverley's Stanforth Secrets, which I just read...and I really really wish she had written the scene where the hero breaks into his friend's room, thinking he's seducing the heroine in there. Judging by the scene where he embarassedly tells the heroine about it, it would have been hysterical.
I read and finished Deneane Clark's Faith on Sunday and really liked it. I'm going to buy her debut novel Grace. I began reading SJ's The Truth About Lord Stoneville last night.

I began reading Melissa Mayhue's new one last week, but couldn't get caught up in the story, so have put it aside for awhile.
Thank you so much, Deb! I hope you enjoy Grace, as well. Charity will be on shelves in December.

Have a beautiful day.
