| Even though I have a ridiculous number of books in my TBR piles (plural), I have been doing some fun re-reads. I finished Bet Me by Jennifer Crusie and See Jane Score by Rachel Gibson, and I'm now into Truly Madly Yours also by RG and loving it (again).

Wow. I just had 20 minutes before a 9 am meeting right next to a Borders, and picked up:
Lessons in French by Laura Kinsale
Angel's Peak by Robyn Carr
Ravishing in Red by Madeline Hunter
The Next Best Thing by Kristan Higgins
The Stanforth Secrets by Jo Beverly
Promise Me Tonight by Sara Lindsey.
Now where do I start?
(I also have Zoe Archer's Love in a Bottle)
Does anyone else have two categories of books they read--books they will carry around and read in spare moments like on metro trains, and books they will wait until they can have a nice long uninterrupted read at home?
For me, Lessons in French definitely falls in the second category!

Great list, DLS! I only have one list but the book goes everywhere with me until I finish it. Sometimes, I'll read the really good ones a second time when I can curl up on the couch and savor them.
I liked Lessons in French and Promise Me Tonight a lot. My review of Promise Me Tonight is posted today at our blog. I haven't picked up Angel's Peak yet but I love the sound of it. I really enjoyed Forbidden Falls!

I read and finished Deneane Clark's Faith on Sunday and really liked it. I'm going to buy her debut novel Grace. I began reading SJ's The Truth About Lord Stoneville last night.
I began reading Melissa Mayhue's new one last week, but couldn't get caught up in the story, so have put it aside for awhile.

| Great review PJ. I love the quote about Jupiter and Juno. Now I can't wait to read it. (Unfortunately, I have evening commitments, mostly kid related, every night this week. Those books will be burning a hole in my mental pocket....)

| I'm in the middle of "Seduce Me" by Robin DeHart. It is the 1st book of the Legend Hunters and is about the search to recover Pandora's Box. It is really good so far.

I'm reading Dear John - Nicholas Sparks. The trailer for the movie looks great so I wanted to read the book before seeing the movie._________________ Jess |

Ended up liking The Shattered Rose by Beverley. The book had excellent period detail (I think anyway; I don't know much about the medieval period). I also liked the leads and there was a fun secondary romance. It was a bit predictable though.
I'm going to pick up Lessons in French by Kinsale tomorrow from Borders. Can't wait to start it.
