There are so many! Eloisa will be adding to this list over time

I read like a fiend – so here are some of my very favorite romance authors, people whose new novels make me run to the bookstore. I’ll add to this list regularly, so stop back! You can also read more about my 5 favorite romances! ~ Eloisa

CONNIE BROCKWAY
I make myself slow down when I’m reading Connie’s books — I don’t want them to end! Whether she’s writing quirky contemporary or sigh-worthy historical romances, I can always count on witty, worldly characters who never take the easy way out. I particularly adored Skinnydipping, Hot Dish, So Enchanting, and The Passionate One (click on the titles for my reviews). Read an excerpt on Connie’s website.

CHRISTINA DODD
I love Christina’s paranormals. Her men are unabashedly alpha — sexy beasts who are leashed in only by the heroine (except when he loses control) — hot, hot romance! Into the Shadow and Scent of Darkness are fabulous, but I love her historicals too — try The Prince Kidnaps a Bride (click on the titles for my reviews). Read an excerpt on Christina’s website.

JULIA QUINN
Julia writes some of the freshest, funniest romances I’ve ever read: her characters are people whom you’d love to have for dinner and think about after you’ve finished the book. I absolutely loved What Happens in London; other favorites are On the Way to the Wedding and It’s In His Kiss (click on the titles for my reviews). Read an excerpt on Julia’s website.

SUSAN ELIZABETH PHILLIPS
The one time that I actually fell of the couch laughing was while reading one of Susan’s books. I treasure these novels: they’re full of peppery wisdom and sexy humor. I’d recommend every single one! I’ve probably reread Nobody’s Baby But Mine and It Had to Be You five times (click on the title for my review). Kiss an Angel is an absolute favorite of mine. If you haven’t read it, you must! TERESA MEDEIROS
I think Teresa’s books are deeply romantic — at the end of every book, you really know that the hero and heroine would die for each other. I always finish her books with a big, happy sigh. Touch of Enchantment and A Kiss to Remember are old favorites, but I adored After Midnight and The Vampire who Loved Me too (click on the titles for my Books to Love reviews). LISA KLEYPAS
Lisa writes some of the smartest, most heart-felt romances I’ve ever read. There are a lot of romances in which the stakes don’t seem very high. In every single one of Lisa’s books, there’s wild passion-along with the sense that this time, it won’t work out. The problems are just too big. Try Scandal in Spring, Mine Till Midnight, and It Happened One Autumn—all fabulous! Love in the Afternoon is one of my very favorites. (Click on the titles for my Books to Love reviews.)
